In reply to: Troubleshoot Word 2013 – settings etcDo you have proof of this assertion? When I look at my blog, which I have used both Word and WLW I cannot tell the difference between the posts. Can you tell me what “code” is “incompatible”?
This thread would be better served by people who wish to solve the problem rather than avoid it by brushing aside Word and WLW. (Or offer an alternative to them that works.)

In reply to: Troubleshoot Word 2013 – settings etcI am running into the same issues with WordPress 3.8.1 running Arras Theme hosted on GoDaddy.
There has to be a way to debug this. The images are uploading and the text is occasionally getting through.
Please don’t say that Word does not work for this, I have been using it for years and since WLW has been broken and rolled into the Suite, it is not an alternative, even if it did work. If anyone has an alternative for creating posts OFFLINE I’d love to hear it.
Using the browser and the Media tools to upload a post with 10-12 images is not an alternative.
Oh, I found this XML-RPC Validator and my blog check out fine: http://xmlrpc.eritreo.it/
That must be the case here. Thanks!
Thanks again for the reply. The events are not displayed chronologically, so it’s pretty useless, they are displayed by post date. Unless there a secret undocumented RSS URL that allows pulling events by thier event dates and filters by category and tag. I tried the URLs in the codex but they don’t work on your events.
Thanks again for the assistance.
Thanks for the quick reply. Any recommendations for RSS widgets? I just tried the default widget and it’s…well…uninspiring. THe events are not in chronological order and there is no real formatting control.
Also, after browsing the documentation I can’t find anything related to RSS. I have hacked around and am having a little success, but I need to filter the feed based on a tag and a category. Is that possible?
