Yes, the site https://triumgallery.com/ is correctly added to Google Search Console, and the sitemap (/sitemap_index.xml) was submitted months ago. It includes all content types in both Italian (main language) and English.

The issue is this:

🔴 Many Italian pages are not indexed, even though:

• They are in the sitemap,
• They load fine,
• The canonical tag correctly points to themselves (Italian version).

For example:
https://triumgallery.com/artist/emilio-tadini/ (italian page)
→ Canonical in HTML:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://triumgallery.com/artist/emilio-tadini/" />

But Google Search Console says:
“Page with redirect”
→ Canonical considered: https://triumgallery.com/en/artist/emilio-tadini/ (english page)

🛠️ Recently, I disabled the browser language redirect option in WPML (previously set to always redirect), to prevent Googlebot from being redirected to English.

I’m waiting to see if this change helps, but I’d like to know:
👉 Do you think this change alone could solve the indexing problem?
Or is the issue likely caused by the missing WPML SEO (Yoast SEO Multilingual) plugin, which I haven’t been able to install yet?
