I have exactly the same issue here. I cannot create venue posts in second language (Czech).
It would be great to hear from other guys as well whether they encountered the same issue as it is quite severe for multilingual pages.
I cannot believe that just two of us are using Polylang (100k+ active installs) and Event organiser (30k+ active installs) together.
