Oh, I see. I tried that and it loaded like this (attached image). Loading while Live Client ID and Live Secret Key are entered to “Connect Account”
However, nothing happens after loading, no message appears like “Connected” and the checkout page still does not contain the PayPal checkout. If I click on the normal connect button at the top after entering this info, it just erases my custom API and tries to start the auto-connect process over again.
Thanks Krystian, so much! But there is no such screen as you describe. Are you sure it made it to the UX? The bottom of the connection screen has no “Manually Connect” button. There is only a variety of payment services listed. The bottom of the screen also says

Is there a safe way for me to edit a PHP file you suspect, if you find out? Please let me know, I am comfortable manually editing them if I get the okay from you. (I backup my site in a couple of ways.)
Note the dark navigation bar and choose “Select Story”. You will see the rogue Chapter 1 floating above Act I and the well-behaving (nested) Chapter 1.
It could be my idealistic memory, however, telling me that it’s wrong. Not sure I noticed it before.
