In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Error databasehi, i contacted my hoster, he told me that it seem Bacwpup can’t connect to the database, but he doesn’t really know why. He asks me to try to downgrade php version, is this a good idea?
He told me that this database function ( mysqli::real_connect() )seems to be functional but he told me that :“Otherwise this call function of the database must have the data of the base which must be informed, it would be necessary to be able to control the exactitude of its information.”
And then, he asks me to contact plugin support 🙂

It seem backwup can’t access to the database server, however the website is online, if it can access to the database my website won’t works isn’t it?Anyway thank you for your help
