Hi ratamatcat,
Thank you for your message.
Could you send us the URL you’re having this issue with?
Hi Jahrat,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
Yoast SEO only analyzes content in the default WordPress editor. If you’re adding content to a page using third-party page builders, widgets, or custom fields, Yoast SEO may not be able to recognize that content.
If the theme has added the right code for Yoast SEO to hook into, Yoast is expected to then scan the content. We suggest contacting the WP Sermon Manager’s authors and asking them if they have included the right code in the description field. This guide should help them out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/.
Please bear in mind this doesn’t reflect the way Google scans your content. It strictly applies to our content analysis features.
Hello shimmery,
Thank you for your message.
According to the Elementor team, their page builder is fully compatible with Yoast SEO (both Free and Premium).
Please check the following:
– Are you using the current version of Yoast plugins?
– Are you using the current version of WordPress (5.3.2 or higher)?
– Are products and pages built differently (e.g. different Elementor modules)?
– Do any JavaScript errors occur? Here is how to check.Hello,
Thank you for your message.
We need a little more information. Could you send us the exact error you’re seeing in Google Search Console? A screenshot could be very helpful.Hi Jolita,
Thank you for reporting this issue to us and we apologize for the wait.
It sounds like your Yoast meta box is blank. This is a common issue and usually occurs due to a JavaScript conflict.
To troubleshoot:
1. Update Yoast SEO and WordPress to the latest version (13.1 and 5.3.2).
2. Check if JavaScript errors appear in the browser console
3. If JavaScript errors appear in the browser console, check for any conflicts with other plugins. We look forward to your response.
Hello,
Thank you for your message.
Yoast SEO doesn’t generate data-vocabulary.org markup. It only generates schema.org specific markup. That means a third-party source on your site (possibly your current theme) is generating data-vocabulary.org markup related to the breadcrumbs. We recommend getting in touch with the authors of that source for assistance.Hello,
Thank you for your message.
For a personal blog, we recommend selecting “Person” schema. You’ll find more background information on that here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/search-appearance-organization-or-person/
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hi richardzed,
Thank you for your message.
If some of the functionality is missing from the Yoast meta box, please check the following settings:
1. Go to Users → Your Profile → Yoast SEO settings and confirm that both “Disable SEO analysis” and “Disable readability analysis” are unclicked.
2. Go to SEO → Search Appearance → Content Types and check that the Yoast SEO metabox says “Show” for the respective content type (pages, posts, etc).
Does that fix the problem? We hope this helps!
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.Some of the recent Yoast updates included changes to the content analysis. It is possible that your content is now being graded differently. You’ll find more about the changes introduced here: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-10-0/ and here https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/change-log-wordpress-seo/.
Additionally, if you mark a page or post as “cornerstone content,” the analysis becomes much more stringent, which could cause your score to go from green to orange.
If neither of these scenarios apply to you, please send us more information. If you can include screenshots, it would be very helpful.
Please also update Yoast to the latest version (12.0.1).
We look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Sujit,
Thank you for writing us.
Can you tell us how you changed the noindex tag? If you can, please include screenshots.
Can you also send us a screenshot of SEO → Search Appearance → Content Types (tab) → Products (section)?
We look forward to hearing from you.
Hi Ellie,

Switching from Yoast Premium to Yoast SEO
The Yoast SEO settings are stored in the database. As they are two separate plugins, you can switch to the free version with the following steps:– Deactivate premium version
– Install and activate free version
– Uninstall premium versionWrong meta description
Is Yoast outputting the correct meta description in the source code? Sometimes Google will change the meta description and title for one it deems more fitting. To resolve the issue, we suggest:
1. Improving the meta description. Google sometimes changes the meta description to be more descriptive and to help users when they search. This guide explains more: Google shows different metas for my site. You can learn more about improving them with this guide: SEO Meta Descriptions
2. Use the Fetch as Googlebot Tool to encourage Google to reindex the page and update the search results accordingly. Check in Google to see if the right one then appears. You may need to run Fetch as GoogleBot a couple times.
3. Contact Google by creating a post on their forum to ask why Googlebot is changing the meta description. We hope this helps and let us know if you have any questions.

1) Can you please share the URL with us?

Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with Yoast. We checked the URL you provided but only found one meta description tag (<meta name=”description” content=”Maestrías de psicología, logopedia, neurociencias y educación”>). Other tags contain the word “description” but they are related to social media accounts and should not be flagged as duplicates.
We hope this clarifies thing and let us know if you have any other questions.Hello garybrindley,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. We’re sorry for the trouble you’re having with your titles.
Please try the following:
– Can you confirm that your theme/plugin has support for title tags? If you are not sure you may need to speak with your theme developer. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/the-seo-title-output-for-the-plugin-doesnt-work-as-expected/.
– If you do a force-rewrite of titles by going to SEO->Titles and Metas->General tab does the issue resolve? Note, that Yoast will automatically display this feature if it is detected that it is needed.
– Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Hi goehlert,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
We checked your pages sitemap and found two pages from 2016 and 2017. They’re both returning 404 errors.
We suggest resolving the 404 errors. You have a couple of options here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/my-sitemap-is-giving-a-404-error-what-should-i-do
Once you’ve resolved the 404 errors, please try resubmitting the sitemap by following these steps: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/submit-sitemap-search-engines/
Does that solve the problem?
