In reply to: [Event List] All Events have 5 copiesI doubt if there were five hits on my site during the update – the traffic is fairly low. Also if the two known cases both have 5 repeats that looks a bit more systematic?
As I say not a problem for me at present, but any safeguards during a future upgrade obviously welcome.

In reply to: [Event List] All Events have 5 copiesHello,
I don’t get the problem with images, and can now create new events (at least on one trial) without replication.
In other words, after deleting the unwanted duplicates it seems to be working OK.

In reply to: [Event List] All Events have 5 copiesHello,
The server is running PHP 5.6.33
It does seem to be a one-off problem, but if several people were reporting it then it would be worth investigating further.
Thank you, TonyPS. I have tried to find a working template to use as a model, but all the additional ones seem to be broken, and the inbuilt ones have moved a lot of code into the foogallery core, so it is very difficult to understand how to make changes/additions.
Do you have an example of a free-standing template, that works with 1.4.x, that I can use as a model?
Thanks, Tony
I have a custom Template plug-in which is also not working correctly. I am using 1.4.7, and have cleared the browser cache.
1. The new Preview facility displays the images, incorrectly styled, in a single vertical column down the left of the page.
2. The Gallery page (and the Preview) display the following error messages:

In reply to: [Event List] Cannot edit descriptionI have noticed the following comment on the WordPress support forum for 4.8.1. I don’t know if it is relevant.
“Editor tools are not showing as expected in WordPress 4.8.1 – Our editor, TinyMCE, was updated in this release, so your plugin or theme may need to be updated to reflect this change”
The link is at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-4-8-master-list/

In reply to: [Event List] Cannot edit descriptionI also have this problem. Am running WP 4.8.1 and Event List 0.7.9. Also occurs in 0.7.8.
Immediate cause is the CSS on the textarea having ‘visibility:hidden;’ or ‘color:#fff;’ or ‘display:none;’ or some combination set. But even if you override these the basic functionality of the editor does not operate correctly.
Wordpress edits normal Pages OK. Nevertheless is this in fact a WordPress bug, since it is the WordPress editor malfunctioning?

In reply to: [Event List] Show event-list current monthI agree filtering on Relative Month does not work.
I can filter on today~+8_weeks fine, but today~+2_months just returns “no events”.
Short term fix – use number of weeks.
