It turns out that the parent theme must have been the cause, because when I went in to start testing, the theme needed an update and afterwards, everything worked!
Yes, I’d be willing to test it.
I’m having a similar problem. If I use the Events template, I get all the sidebar widgets showing up at the bottom of an event.
When I switch to the Default template, I don’t have the widget problem, but I get this warning message repeatedly at the top of the page:

I am using the latest version of the plugin (2.0.11) and of WP (3.5.1)
