Even with 1.8 RC2, the ai1ec info is on top of every plugin admin page until you respond to the initial questions of choosing to allow/disallow then.ly to collect calendar statistics and also perform the initial settings. Close, but not yet fixed. Currently running WP 3.4.1.

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] How do you set a static “Subject” field? Please disregard. I believe I was experiencing some quirky behavior on my site where plugin updates were not getting propagated correctly. Appears to be working OK now.

In reply to: [Plugin: Contact Form 7] The sender is always me !I think venartas has it correct. Changing the Email option on SPF appears to correct the problem. So, perhaps any other plugin that makes global changes to email settings may have the same effect. Thanks venartas. This issue was driving me crazy.

In reply to: 2.7 beta Upgrade Issue?I’m a new user of 2.7 RC1. I attempted to use the “Tools–> Upgrade–> Upgrade Automatically” for the first time to grab RC2, but the process just hangs at “Downloading update from http://ww.wp.xz.cn/nightly-builds/wordpress-latest.zip”. I only see a zero-filesize “wordpress-latest.zip” sitting in my wp-content directory.
However, a manual download produces a normal size “wordpress-latest” zip file.
Any thoughts why automatic upgrade is producing a zero-size zip file?
