In reply to: [Genesis Connect for BuddyPress] Use GC and Keep Buddypress Default CSS@brandfection, I switched to Custom Sidebars – http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/custom-sidebars/ and it works great. I am just going to give up and leave the site the way it is and try to just add in a few hack to finish it off.

In reply to: [Genesis Connect for BuddyPress] Use GC and Keep Buddypress Default CSSI went a head last night and did it. It will work for one project and not the other one. We switched the sidebars around. Instead of content-sidebar-sidebar(alt), we changed the set up to content-sidebar(alt)-sidebar so I could have the narrower column in the middle. When activating GC, it doesn’t work. So I’ll have to figure out another route. Also, the formatting in just the regular Buddypress is so nice and pretty and has graphics. When I activate GC it strips all of that out of there. I wish there was a way that when GC is activated, it would keep the original BP styling.

In reply to: [rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress] Ratings or Thumbs Up/DownI know I’m not, but marking something resolved when clearly it isn’t doesn’t seem like the appropriate thing to do. But CLOSE it and I’ll NEVER use their product again and that should settle that. How about that. Close it. I won’t use it.

In reply to: [rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress] Ratings or Thumbs Up/DownI tried this one – http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/kk-star-ratings/screenshots/ and it only attaches to posts. It will not attach to the photos at all. This issue is not resolved so why is it marked resolved simply because one person has chimed in here. It should be left open in case someone else has something better or another solution. I am a moderator on two support boards and this is just good practice.

In reply to: [Genesis eNews Extended] Use with Jetpack Blog SubscriptionThanks Brandon. Because Jetpack offers the ability to download the email addresses, most of the people I am doing websites for would rather use this than to pay and use one of the other systems. Plus, for their bloggers, they don’t need a system like the other ones – the Jetpack Subscription is what’s working good for them.

In reply to: [Genesis Simple Sidebars] Simple Sidebars not working with new BuddypressI am closing this. I was told in email I have to use GC but when I do – all the nice formatting and buttons from the new Buddypress 1.7 goes away and it’s an ugly mess. So I’ll do with out the GSS.

In reply to: [AgentPress Listings] Search not pulling correct informationAs Ron stated, Go through the StudioPress Help Desk at http://my.studiopress.com.
Fixed it.
I have set this up on one site and it works. I just set it up on another site and when hitting the Send button – the circle spins and nothing happens. All of my plugins are up to date. Please assist.
