If you choose delivery option at top of checkout page and then put a zip code, and when that zip code is allowed for pickup only, now if you try to complete the order it will add notice that will say no shipping method available and order cant be completed. Just try to complete the order and you will get it.
As the choice of delivery/pickup appear before entering the zip code so, you cant manipulate the delivery/pickup option there based on zip code, that can be possible if you pull down the date-time section below address field using WC hooks, and then use available WC zone based on user’s zip code to show/hide delivery/pickup buttons.
The easiest way is if you allow only pickup then make the pickup button visible only from the plugin settings page.

When delivery option is selected then the plugin will remove the “local pickup” from available shipping methods, so you will see either flat rate or free shipping or any other shipping method created by extending these two shipping method.
On other hand if pickup is selected then the plugin will remove “free shipping” and/or “flat rate” and only pickup will be there to be applied as shipping method.
And all these occurs automatically on page load when delivery/pickup is selected, if you provide me the URL I can check what is actually happening there. Just make sure you have added “local pickup” method on all the zones as well before posting your URL.

You need order placing cutoff time for same day delivery, and that is already in pro version of this plugin that is WooODT Extended. Right now its not possible with WooODT Lite.
