In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] [Plugin: WP SlimStat] Human VisitsAs an aside suggestion….perhaps a config option so we could choose which way to count them??
Just a thought…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] [Plugin: WP SlimStat] Human VisitsYes, the first item under Summary in the Visitors panel is correct.
I don’t think only capturing visits from javascript enabled browsers is getting the bulk of my visitors.
Based on previous years’ stats for my site (pre-slimstat), with regard to human visits, the previous method was more aligned with my historical data.
My opinion, it’s the better way to go. 🙂
Thanks!
I had the same issue a short while ago. I removed the plugin via FTP and I was able to get to the dashboard, etc. Of course, not certain what this has done to historical data, however, not my primary concern at this point.
Although I don’t get the white screen (or any errors for that matter), users are still able to register without any moderation. I’m not getting any notification that a new member has registered.
Any ideas?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails not generating, no errorsI don’t know if this would apply in many cases, however, I had the same problem. I did just about everything mentioned above and nothing. It was only when looking at Options > Thumbnails that I saw this;
Please note : If you change the settings, you need to recreate the thumbnails under -> Manage Gallery .
I thought to myself, ‘I can recreate thumbnails?’ Anyway, I went back to Manage > Gallery, selected all the images in one of my galleries, and chose “Create new thumbnails” under Bulk Actions. Although the thumbnail status bar completed at 100%, it just hung there and wouldn’t close – I had to close it manually. Then, I selected “Save Changes” and, as if by magic, my thumbnails appeared. No idea why, they just did.
Hope this helps someone.

In reply to: wp_list_pages scroll?Thanks for the reply. As this is a widget, where would I place the element – sidebar.php?
Thanks again!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Add Mouseover Sound to Page LinksYeah, I agree. It wasn’t my idea to do a mouseover sound. I have created the buttons and placed the code into HTML via the “Text” widget, however, I wanted to find out how to do it (if possible) in WP – when using the Pages Widget in the sidebar. It may not be an option, but thought I would ask in case someone knew a way.
Thanks!
