Yes, we know this. I use Stackable on all my sites because of this. What I am saying is this is such a basic requirement that a plugin should not be necessary for responsive settings. Mobile should not be an afterthought in 2024.

It’s marked as “resolved” yet no solution.

I ran into the same issue. I’m very grateful for the plugin. I hope he hasn’t abandoned it.

Add this to your custom css to remove the extra spacing between the content and the footer without messing up the spacing for all the other site block elements.

    footer.wp-block-template-part {margin-block-start:0 !important;}

There are 2 areas to investigate:

    1. That your site email settings are correct. If you’re using a professional email like Google Workplace then follow the SMTP plugin’s instructions for generating the necessary API. If you’re using self hosted email (and you really shouldn’t be given your knowledge level) doublecheck your mail server settings. If the send settings are bad, your email might get bounced.
    2. It might be a problem with your email itself. Doublecheck your mail server settings, domain keys and SPF. It looks like you have zoho mail attached to your domain. There seem to be some missing DMARC security settings. You should contact them to resolve the issue.

This is not a theme issue. I could duplicate the same issue with Twenty Twenty-Four or any block theme. In the block theme, If you want to add a page template that has a different background color, how do you accomplish that without changing the be for the whole site?

When you say “I got somebody on my website”, did they write in the comment section or use a site form to send a message? Either way, it’s probably just broadcast spam. Do not click on any links from them or reply.

I just spent a good bit of time on this last week. My current solution is to use Popup Maker. You can achieve what you want even in the free version. It allows you to trigger a pre-designed popup from any link or button. The only thing i don’t like is that the popup designer uses the old classic editor instead of wp blocks. You can however, drop any shortcodes you want in the popup area. This is the simplest way I’ve found.

Also, you should probably make your homepage a static page with a post loop section instead of having it be the latest post page.

Perhaps there is some misunderstanding. Currently in the Gutenberg editor you set the styling for your blocks including margins, padding, font size, etc. What I (and many others) are saying is that there needs to be breakpoint mobile options there as well. Same options, just for mobile. The padding you set for desktop might look like garbage on mobile. There is zero reason to not have mobile options in the Styles tab.

The problem is that a lot of wp people are not serious about design especially mobile design and usability. Anyone who is serious about mobile would very much understand the need for this.

Obviously, you would want role based content editing which Gutenberg is also deficient in. Gutenberg needs to grow up and be able to handle these use cases.

We use Duplicator for backups and currently we manually download the backups from the server (free version). We’re starting to test using Duplicator Pro (paid) to do automatic backups to Dropbox. That might be a path to consider.

Of course, manually you can just zip up your whole wp directory and use phpmyadmin to export your db. That’s how we used to backup and restore when I first started.

I also agree. I was documenting the problems but found a better plugin so I stopped giving a f#@! about this product. For anyone who is interested, these are some of the problems that I was experiencing at the point I gave up.

    Problems

There is no way to order the Pricing Plans without changing the dates of each plan. That’s clumsy.

Furthermore, there does not seem to be a way to set the order in which a Plan’s features display. This is a huge problem.

Need to remove the +tax hover on the Pricing Plans.

Some of the wording that you guys choose for the frontend interface does not fit and there’s no easy way to make changes in the language?

Regarding the plan prices, You can’t remove the decimal places. Also, the $ sign seems to have been omitted from the Checkout Total Amount.

So many more silly silly problems. I could build my own directory with the same amount of time it take to get this thing usable.

    Documentation Problems

    • Outdated Documentation: Many parts of the documentation are outdated and show screenshots that do not reflect the current product.
    • Language Issue: Some parts of the documentation seem to be generated by a clumsy auto-translate script because the don’t make any sense. You should have a native English speaker proofread and correct all documentation pages.
    • Completeness: Some documentation articles don’t completely explain the subject well.
    • The Documentation Itself 1: The documentation is sometimes poorly organized and not well written and implementation steps are sometimes out of sequence.
    • The Documentation Itself 2: Navigating and searching the documentation is frustrating. There are no breadcrumbs for moving around on many pages. Why are there only breadcrumbs on the Themes documentation pages?
    • The Documentation Itself 3: The documentation is split in to 3 sections. Each section serves as its own top level. The Documentation page should be the top level of search for all 3 sections.

This is a wordpress core problem. It’s not limited to a single theme. It has not been fixed.

I was wondering if you could help me with some info. You said:

Currently, that is how the full site edit themes work. The front page is only customizable in the Site Editor.

I’m having problems tracking down the source of this. Some people in the forums are saying what you said. But some people are saying that a theme should be able to handle Site Editor Front Page and static Page as Front Page. I notice that themes like Blockster, Twenty Twenty-Three, Twenty Twenty-Two, Spectra One, and others still allow you to set a static page as the homepage/Front Page. What is the difference in Lemmony not being able to use a static page at the homepage/Front Page?

May I ask why. Is this a technical hurdle?
