Travelmap is primarily intended as a simple way to maintain one map, but there is a way to get it to display multiple different maps.If you add all destinations to the same list, you can split it up into several maps by following the installation instructions under “showing partial maps”.
This is only intended as a quick hack to enable maybe two or three maps. More than that would be hard to keep track of that way.
I dont think it will work with Buddypress, since Travelmap just stores one big list of destinations.

In reply to: [Travelmap] Website hacked?Yes, that’s a bit embarrassing… It seems like an older version of another plugin made my blog vulnerable to attacks.
It’s all cleaned up now and I will try to be faster updating 3:rd party plugins in the future.

I found a pretty bad bug that sometimes gave wildly incorrect results when geocoding cities.This bug and as well as a few others are fixed in the new version (1.4). There are also a few new features and some UI improvements. Take look at the changelog for a full list:

In reply to: [Travelmap] [Plugin: Travelmap] some feature suggestionsThe new version 1.3 includes a way to show multiple trips in different maps using shortcode attributes. It’s not ideal if you have a lot of trips (5+), but it keeps the options page simple for most users. Take a look at the installation page for instructions.

I will have to think a little about how the administration should be handled, but I will probably implement multiple maps sometime during the next month.
