I have a related question and am also having some difficulty with a geo-restriction setting.
The client I’m working for can only sell to one province in Canada (Alberta). I’ve put all the other provinces in the list of restrictions and have specified ‘restrict based on billing address’, but the system is still allowing me to purchase a digital item even though I’m in one of the restricted provinces (BC – British Columbia).
Is it possible that the restriction hasn’t kicked in because the item is a digital download and it’s bypassing the plug-in.
I’m not sure why the restriction hasn’t worked. Any advice would be appreciated.
