    thank you for your extensive answer.
    Very useful informations.
    So my next step will be to set up a cloned version of my website. And test the core upgrade and plugin compatibility there.

    Thank you shital,
    Unfortunately i can´t post a URl because it´s under development and hidden from public view.

    I noticed that the online stores build with woo have mostly the useless shop page still active, but with no button linking there. Just button linking directly to the product categories.

    I think i will do the same, even if this is not a very elegant solution.
