    Got it fixed!

Since I wrote this post I have done a lot more research. My first hour of research was very discouraging, as most everyone that posted had tried several different things, which only worked for a few people. Then… a took a break, did another search and found a solution that worked for people 98% of the time, and it took about 5 seconds of my time! All I did was install the recommended plugin called “Use Google Libraries”.

I would highly recommend anyone having a similar problem to check it out:

I copied this from the above link:

“A number of the javascript libraries distributed with WordPress are also hosted on Google’s AJAX Libraries API. This plugin allows your WordPress site to use the content distribution network side of Google’s AJAX Library API, rather than serving these files from your WordPress install directly.

This provides numerous potential performance benefits:

-increases the chance that a user already has these files cached
    -takes load off your server
-uses compressed versions of the libraries (where available)
-Google’s servers are set up to negotiate HTTP compression with the requesting browser”

this morning I woke up to the same problem, and posted a HELP comment. After reading your post, it doesn’t look good! Just wondering if you ever found a solution.

BTW… I have pressed the “screen options” button probably 20 times, and the help button too… thinking that will get it work… but still nothing happens.
