Oh, thank you for reminding me to come back and say how I fixed it!
It turns out that the lazy load on a different plugin, WooCommerce Product Table, was the culprit. For some reason, when lazy load is turned on, the table doesn’t search tags anymore. (Why? Who knows!)
Putting in a shortcode for product_table solved the problem. You can see the full solution here: https://github.com/users/membracid/projects/1/views/1?filterQuery&pane=issue&itemId=153362653&issue=membracid%7CWooCommerce%7C26
The products table predates the Woo Search –the table was added 3 years ago, and the Woo search 2 years ago. I haven’t changed anything on the site other than updates to Woo Search recently. I double checked the search parameters, and I do have tags included.
I’m glad you are confirming the same issue! But…I’m still not sure how to fix it. I’ve done all the cache dumping/cloud cleaning for the site, and that’s not the issue.
I guess I’ll have to start turning things off and on until I find out what’s gone wrong 🙁

In reply to: Gallery went wonky after last updateWell, in addition to missing the jetpack support section (thanks for the link) I am not able to figure out how to mark a reply as clearly spam?
Because that is totally spam 😀

In reply to: [Sequential] “Read More” AND “Continue reading” on grid pages?I solved it!!
It was indeed a conflict with Yoast SEO Plugin.
If I went back into the page, and added an Excerpt in *addition* to the Yoast metadata, now it uses the excerpt as the blurb and only has “read more”.
Whew!

In reply to: [Sequential] “Read More” AND “Continue reading” on grid pages? The plugins we have activated right now are:
- SiteGround Optimizer (caching)
- Organic Customizer Widgets
- Askimet
- VaultPress
- Jetpack
- Yoast
We aren’t using any of the Organic Widgets on the pages where we are having this issue.
De-activating Yoast doesn’t help with the grid excerpts; it still just grabs the first paragraph. And has both read more/continue reading. We briefly tried the plugin TablePress, but it doesn’t seem to work well with this theme. The formatting goes wonky 🙁 We de-activated it.
