Hi again, and thanks for the follow‑up. I created a new test form now, and when I inserted a fresh MailPoet Form block in a template, the new form appeared immediately in the dropdown — exactly as expected. So the issue seems to have been temporary. I’m not seeing the “Insert URL” fallback anymore. If it happens again, I’ll check the browser console for JS errors and test with optimization plugins disabled, as suggested.

Thanks for following up. I wanted to give you an update based on new testing:

When I first added the MailPoet block, it only showed a blank/default placeholder with the text “Insert URL”.

My form did not appear in the dropdown list at that time.

However, after some time (and after using the shortcode successfully), the MailPoet block changed its behavior. I saw this first today, when making snippets to add to this respond. It now shows “Select form”, and my form finally appears in the dropdown list.

So the block is now working correctly, and I can select the form directly.

It seems the form was not initially registered or exposed to the block editor, but eventually it appeared.

If this delay is expected behavior or related to a known issue with block themes, I would appreciate any clarification. My theme is Twenty Twenty-four
