BTW, I just came across a website with a theme very similar to Author, and which has all the required symbols (at the bottom of the menu), including Academia.edu: https://www.stefcraps.com/

Thanks! That’s what I’m doing already, but given the importance of Academia.edu for my corner of academia, I was hoping I could display it as prominently as the other icons.

Is there a way, perhaps, to add a “generic social media” item to the social media form and allow people to choose a letter of the alphabet to represent it? In my case just having an “A” would be enough, and I imagine other people might want to link to other sites that aren’t in the font yet. Just a thought.
