Sorry for the late answer.
This plugin doesnt count visits from an administrator or editor.
That could be the reason why you dont see this as working.
Please try another browser, or logout of wordpress when testing it.

I’m sorry you have had these issues.
I have today updated the plugin, so it only counts a visit one time for each user.
a view will first be counted again when the user have closed and reopened hos browser.
I expect this to solve your problem.
