I am also interested of an answer on this question.
Hi, I’ve been in contact with the support of my theme and they could reproduce the issue in their local environment, so I’m waiting for a solution.
Thanks for your time in this matter.
Kind regards,
MagnusHi, Yes I can confirm that my problem with captcha feature disappear when I change to another theme. I’ve tested successfully with two different themes but when I change back to my sites theme the problem returns back.

Hi, I am very confused right now. I can log on to the other site without entering the captcha code. I’m sure it worked before. It registred a new record in the Failed Login Records list like my newest site. Both sites are using same theme and basically same plugins. Both sites are installed in a subfolder “/wp”.

Hi, Sorry but that’s not an option for me. I believe captcha is a good feature and I’m using it on other WordPress sites with no problem. My IP address is not blacklisted anyware.

Hi,
I am using the normal login url.
Under User Login > Failed Login Records can I see all my successful logins. It seems that every time i login to the site it registers a new record in the Failed Login Records list.

Hi,
Sorry for missing information but I don’t use any cache plugin.
Yes I could successfully unlock my IP address. I just got the message in the log (and email) but I could still log in even with the IP address blocked.
Thanks.
/MagnusHi,
Thanks for reply.
I have now disabled all my plugins except this one and the problem still persist. I also got a message that my IP address is locked out, but I could log in to the site.
My wp-security-log says: The following IP address range has been locked out for exceeding the maximum login attempts: 1nn.nn.nn. I also got a mail with same information that a user is blocked from site./Magnus
