Your Plugin looks good, not to be ungrateful but I was hoping it would work to use the image without putting it into the media library like when you use a url to insert a post image, therefore saving on storage and bandwidth for the host server… it is a work/time saver though!

Well, apparently not, either that or I didn’t get the memo.
This has bothered me for some time too, I also Would love to see progress in using a URL to import a Featured image into a post.
