Just to make clear: Doning this will not lead to redoing anything on our homepage design, content wise or any editing etc! It will appear in the same way as before I uninstalled the theme? Think “doing this for Dummies” in this case! 🙂

Right, if we uninstall and install the theme again do we loose this design and all content?

I’ve followed your advise and still have the same issue. We downloaded your demo and has not changed anything within this settings. We’ve only replaced images with our own at this point. Note that the images that came with the demo was stretched the same way. So it’s not “cropped related”.

Is there any chance we’ve by mistake changed or modified the resize script in some way, not knowing?

ALSO:

Talked to the web hosting services and they say that the Rife Theme is conflicting with the plugin Akismet. So we took it away and that made the whole site go down… So now we have to keep the plugin installed but not activated. A plugin we’re not even using to be able to run the theme?! This sounds truly insane. Can it even be like this?
