Hi George (@gappiah ). thanks for your steer. I had been trying it in a seperate browser, which I keep for testing, ie not logged into anything and got the same results as you. It turns out it was something to do with onedrive access settings.

I moved the file to a separate folder and changed the settings to available by all, which allowed me to change the embed settings in the sheet its self, which wernt updating before and now shows more settings than before (AllowTyping=True and ActiveCell) which are key for this.

I think it was to do with the file being in the root of my one drive which restricts access to anyone else, even sharing.
