I am new to wordpress. I have the same problem as alibey above. I have downloaded the discussion board plugin and have followed the instructions as best as I can. I don’t know how to actually make the discussion board appear and function.
I don’t think I understand how to insert a shortcode. Are these shortcodes already made? Do they exist somewhere already?
If I put [discussion_topics] in a text box, and press “view page”, I get a message that says: “There are no topics posted yet”.
If I put [discussion _board_login_form] into the text box, nothing happens.
Clearly I’m way off — can someone help?
