Please, no need to apologize, you’ve done so much by building and supporting this plugin.
I actually figured out what was wrong. I noticed that my site was working on another device, and it turns out that my screen had the contrast turned too far up, which was causing the grey highlighted rows on both alternate and hover to look white.
