comment related plugin? – I don’t think so.

As far as any filters. I have no filters on the comments. Except that a comment goes into moderation if there are 2 or more links in the comment. So far this has worked great. no other filters – Readers can say whatever they wish. I have many spams daily but I have never had an issue with a reader’s comment going into spam.

I am hoping that once I approve or click that the comments are “not Spam” Akismet will learn and not designate the comments as spam anymore.

FYI: your question though inspired me to check my spam folder. I found some of the comments in my spam, that normally never go into spam. Any clue as to why that would be happening now?

Thanks for such a quick response. No comments pending review.

I was told that when a reader submits a post, it doesn’t show up. Then they try to post again and hit “submit comment” again and a warning comes up that says “You said that already”. However the comment doesn’t show.

As I’m hitting the keys writing to you, I just got a call from a reader though and he was able to post, FINALLY. Not sure what happened.

Do you have any clue? The only thing I changed to rectify the problem, was putting the Permalink settings on “default” when it was on “Day and Name”. Was that the answer or?

    Thanks!

    Yippie!

Thank you so much for your help – you are king! I had no idea what ‘meta’ was and I added it to my side bar and I now have a site admin link. I so appreciate your time on this.

    Hi:

Thanks for the reply. Okay I get adding the /wp-admin to the end of the blog address but why is there not just a dashboard tab available all of the time no matter what page I am on in my blog?
As far as you mentioned above: ‘That would normally be done…” when I do log in it goes to my admin page first – no problem there. What or Where is the ‘site admin’ link you are speaking of? I just want to be able to get back to my admin page ‘after’ I click the ‘visit site’ link and browse around and NOT have to put /wp-admin in the browser.

I never had to do this before @ wordpress.com so I am just questioning if something is missing or is this how it just is.

    Thanks!

    Hi:
Not sure if this is the same question but I have been frustrated to even find an answer.
-When I in my dashboard and I click on ‘Visit site’ , that brings me to the most current post, I lose my dashboard tab which is my access to the admin panel. Is this normal? And if yes, does one get back to the dashboard just using the back button? I just moved my blog from wordpress.com and whenever I was on the page of the current blog entry I still had my dashboard tab available. This seems strange to me that it would not be available for me to use when I am reading comments from bloggers on the current page.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
    -Michelle
