If you have tried the plugins, I’m not sure what to do, but I was having a problem with not being able to edit as well. If I clicked “edit” or “add new” it took me to a blank screen. My Picapp plugin was the culprit. That same plugin has also caused other sites I have to hang up and take a really long time to load. I have quit using it now because it just wasn’t worth the trouble. If anyone reading this has it installed, you may want to try turning it off.

The videos nailed it. The problem was in the unpacking of the zip. NOW I know WP only looks one level deep. This was making me nuts. I really appreciate the guidance.
