In reply to: [View Transitions] Is there a way to stop elements from moving up and down?Hi folks. Just in case any further testing is being done on my site, I’ve deleted the plugin for now.
I noticed the movement was also happening quite drastically on mobile.
Hope to try the plugin out again at some stage in the future.
Cheers.
Mike.

In reply to: [Kadence] Add a link to gallery image captionHey Archita. No worries at all, and thank you for this.
It’s much closer to what I need, but when using a masonry layout that opens the image in a lightbox, the caption and the background are both grey (here’s a screenshot). While there are colour and background settings in the caption drop down, the options aren’t there in the link settings drop down.
The image is also pushed right to the top of the screen, and the caption isn’t in the centre.
I’m guessing that quite a complicated fix, so no worries if it’s not possible right now. Maybe it could be passed over as some feedback to the developers?
Mike.

In reply to: [View Transitions] Is there a way to stop elements from moving up and down?I’ve made you guys a quick screen recording. This is in a private tab in Safari while logged out of WordPress. From the third click, you’ll see things moving up and down.
Ironically, it wasn’t doing it on the about or home pages this time, but you’ll see what I mean on the blog posts and archive.

In reply to: [View Transitions] Is there a way to stop elements from moving up and down?Hey Weston. Thanks for the quick reply.
Sure thing.
Going from Home to Words shows all of the posts fading down (happening in Safari and Chrome).
Then clicking on one of the blog posts shows the top section (profile image and meta) fading up (this just happened in Safari but not in Chrome, although it has happened in Chrome before).
Clicking from Words to Home often shows the whole page (excluding the header) fade up. Again, this seems to happen more frequently in Safari than Chrome.
Clicking from a blog post to About often shows the profile image and H1 fade up (most common in Safari, but I think It’s happened in Chrome a few times).
Hopefully, that will show you what I mean. If not clicking around from page to post to page, etc, usually triggers it.

In reply to: [Dark Mode Toggle] Images stopped invertingHi there. I’m still working through this issue, but just to confirm that it appears to be happening in Safari only. Testing in Chrome and Edge is working as it should.
I’m still having caching issues, but you may be able to see the dark mode button in the footer if needed. If not, maybe you can replicate the issue in Safari?
Is there maybe any way to just completely disable any image inverting happening in the settings?
Mike.

In reply to: [Dark Mode Toggle] Images stopped invertingHi Shubham. Sorry about that. I was just moving the button.
I’ve purged the cache, and hopefully, you can now see it in the top menu bar?
Hey Mohit. Thanks for the reply.
No worries at all, and that makes sense. Not in any rush so I’ll wait and see how it all progresses.
Thank you.
Mike.
Hey Bonn. That’s amazing. Thank you for the quick response.

In reply to: [Dark Mode Toggle] Stop Lightbox Images InvertingThanks for the speedy reply, Shubham.
That has almost worked, other than the shadow of the lightbox, which is still inverted. Is there any way that you know of to un-invert that bit?

In reply to: [Koko Analytics - Privacy-Friendly WordPress Analytics] No data from todayHey Danny. Thanks for the quick reply.
I just saw the update right after I posted this. My bad. Happy to confirm that it’s working again.
Nice one. Much appreciated.
Mike.
Ok great, thank you and will do.
Much appreciated.
Thank you for the reply.
If it’s a review written by one person, it’s not supposed to show (1) as the counter is for the amount of public votes/reviews.
A review written by one person would normally appear without any number next to the stars, like this one.
No worries though and thanks again for the reply. I’ll keep looking into how to fix it…

In reply to: [Ollie] Centre mobile menu and edit hamburger iconNo worries, Henk and hope you’re having a good one 🏖️
Ah ok wasn’t aware there were plugins that can fix it. Good to know for next time.
That’s it! Knew there was a way, just couldn’t seem to type it in right. Much appreciated.
Thank you. I’ve closed this website now, but it was a valuable experience with block themes.
