In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayMaybe the DNS wasn’t fully propagated? I couldn’t leave it as it was…it’s Sunday in the states (that’s about 50-60k of pagesviews) and my editor will be working in the morning (NZ).

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayBut something in Litespeed server/cache is causing my GA to be roughly doubled of what it should be…nothing funky shows in “inspect” (one GTAG like it should be) and I have GTAG excluded. Sigh…

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayHi qtwrk. It killed updating, installing, and uploading too…I assume they are interconnected.
Site is back up and live for Sunday CONUS so I’m happy with that. Gotta stay online to pay my writers.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayAnd after backup restore number 5, my logo is back.
Maybe you guys should go into the dental business? Root canals are profitable. Lol. Sorry. Couldn’t resist. I’m sure it’s the operator and not the product.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayI think tomorrow, we’ll try a Cloudways Vltr HF account and cloudflare. It’s a known combo that has all the kinks worked out of it and I need acceptable performance.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media libraySite is back online with DNS pointing at my server. Can upload and update things now. Media library is visible and usable. And I’m now missing my logo for some unexplainable reason (even in incognito and on various browsers)….guess we’ll go for the fifth restore of night.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayChange the nameservers back to my old custom names and along with the host name…gotta wait and see if this now propagates correctly.
You all have a paid installation service? I am not messing with this again. It’s not worth the pain and mental anguish.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayTurned off all the plugins…including Litespeed. And now the site is completely dead and offline. Thanks. Shit started going highwire right after I switched DNS to Litespeed and got (successfully) hooked to the CDN. Unable to update anything, upload anything. And then turned off all the plugins and whammo. Offline. Gonna cost me money and SERP positions and it’s 11:00 PM my time.
Worse. decision. of. my. life.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayYeah, fourth restore didn’t fix it. Nice, now my editor won’t be able to work in the morning (NZ time).

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayWhy do I have to troubleshoot Dologin to report issues? Why did I go this route? Why? From forcing my host (Knownhost) to install LiteSpeed Enterprise which they had plopped on my server and hadn’t turned on, to forcing them to install memecache, to paying off Godaddy so I could actually point my DNS to Quic Cloud, to fixing every g$#%#$# thing that has broken. Why?
I should have just went Cloudways and been done with it. Little WP Rocket, little Perfmatters. Done and dusted.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayAnd your dologin stuff won’t install. Probably cause of stuff other security plugins have done (changing database table names, etc)…and the ones that I have were turned off. No go.
I swear to God I’m in fraggin WordPress Inception here. Fix something to fix something to fix something to fix something to fix something to fix something to fix something….
And I’ve been fraggin with this for a good three weeks.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayAnd turning off litespeed, perfmatters, and Short Pixel did no good. “No media files found.”

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Saving changes in LS Cache nukes my media librayAnd I just finished the third restoration (from the same restore time) and now my media library is still nuked. I am about done with this…
This isn’t my first rodeo…been running websites since 2013. And getting Litespeed running without breaking everything has been the absolute worse experience.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Godaddy NameserversHi qtwrk,
Getting this server working was driving me nuts…so I took a break (the site was working-so why not? If it saved me from a stroke). Anyhow, when I went to Godaddy tonight, it allowed me to enter the nameservers with no issue. Weird. Maybe upgrading to their “premium” DNS (that I was blackmailed into buying) took a bit of time to get through their system which is why it didn’t let me (or the Godaddy rep) change it when I tried it the first time?
