I found the solution, using the shortcode I had [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”1″ SNIPPET=”140″ MORE=”view more” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″]
whereas the POSTID=”ALL” should have been POSTID=”123″ where 123 was the id of the page where the comments were made on.

I am having a similar issue, importantly using the google rich snippet tool, am seeing vote field and count field are showing zero warning message for the home page and aggregate function is not not working whereas the count is correct on the messages page
http://www.dorsetphotoevent.co.uk has the problem and http://www.dorsetphotoevent.co.uk/reviews.html is OK
