Hi @wardinary Great to hear that helped. Requesting you to leave 1 review for my plugin. I would really appreciate it. Link : https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/facebook-pagelike-widget/reviews/?filter=5#new-post
Thanks, Milap
Hi @wardinary,
When you copy the shortcode from the FAQ, the curly quotes (”) cause errors. Please replace them with straight quotes (“”) and it should work.
Hi @scooter714 ,
I just realized that you are right. The cover page is not displayed, no matter what parameters you pass. It seems to be an issue with the Facebook API. Thanks for the heads-up.
By the way, I have fixed some warnings and error messages in the latest update. Please remove the widget, update to the latest version, and configure it again.
Thank you.
Hi @scooter714 ,
Do you see any warnings now? Could you please share widget or shortcode screenshot you have used ?
Hi @scooter714 ,
Thank you for sharing those warnings. They were caused by compatibility issues with PHP 8.2 and above. I have addressed these in the latest release.
Please try removing the widget, uninstalling your current version, and reinstalling version 6.5. I would appreciate it if you could let me know if this resolves the issues for you.
Hi @mtg169 @wfrmitstaff I have just fixed above issue. Kindly update the plugin and check again. Please let me know if any issues.
Hi everyone, if my plugin works fine on desktop but not on mobile, the issue is not with the plugin itself. It’s likely due to an antivirus, an add-on, some software, or an extension blocking the Facebook feed from loading.
Regards, Milap
Yes, it must be conflict with the theme. You can debug and get it fixed.
Hello @ricsca2 ,
Can you please share more details, how exactly it doesn’t work with latest WordPress 6.7.1 ? I have tested with WordPress 6.7.1 and it is working fine for me.
Thank you, Milap
Hello,
Since the day I added Shortcode support in my plugin, using the Shortcode ‘fb_widget’, I have never implemented any other Shortcode. I’m unsure how you came across ’embedfb’; I’ve never encountered this Shortcode before. Feel free to review all my previous plugin commits to confirm that ‘fb_widget’ is the only Shortcode I’ve utilized.
Regards, Milap
Hello,
My plugin supports only valid Facebook Pages, it doesn’t support Facebook Groups.
Regards, Milap
This issue is not necessarily related to the plugin. There are several other possibilities to consider, such as antivirus software on your system or extensions installed on Firefox. I kindly request that you thoroughly debug the issue before leaving negative ratings.
As I mentioned above, the error provided above doesn’t help in identifying the actual issue. Please share more details if possible.
Hi Priyanka,
My plugin now supports PHP version 8.3. Please update the PHP version on your server, and it should resolve this issue.
Hi there,
The error provided above doesn’t help in identifying the actual issue. Please share more details if possible.
The Facebook Graph API has been updated, and to support PHP 8.3, I needed to update the plugin. Kindly follow the steps below to get it to work.
- Delete the existing widget or Shortcode if added.
- Deactivate and delete the plugin.
- Install latest plugin version 6.4 and activate it.
- Add widget or Shortcode (You don’t require Facebook Application ID).
- Checkout this video for step by step instructions : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qayeaqlmofA
Please let me know if you still face any issues.
