I have 2 WordPress-Websites, one is working one is not working 😉
They are almost identical (same WP-Version, Same Theme, almost the same Plugins) but the difference ist the Hosting (allinkl.com and hosteurope) and the WP-Mail-SMTP Plugin- as far as i can see.PHP-Versions:
Not-Working-Site: PHP Version 5.6.30-he.0
Working-Site:PHP Version 7.0.14-nmm1Thanks again for your help!!

a few months later 😉
I tried your plugin again und it works –in SOME PAGES.
But not in that page I need 😉I use the current Version of WP (4.7.3)und all my plugins are up-to-date.
My gender-specific Salutation works like a charm in other websites- but not in one website I work currently – and I have no idea why 😉
I use Email 1 + Email 2 an I get these results in my inbox:
[salutationFemale] Dear Ma’am[/salutationFemale]
[salutationMale] Dear Sir[/salutationMale]
…So the email-Tags show up in my Email.
I tried deactivate all plugins except CF7 and this plugin – same Result.My Site is hosted bei hosteurope.de and i have to use the WP-Mail-SMTP Plugin because I cannot send Email via WordPress with this Hosting-Partner.
Maybe this might affect the functionality of your Plugin?
I would be incredibly thankful if you could help me 😉

unfortunately the new version is not compatible with the last version of cf7. I cannot submit my form anymore. So i had to deactivate your plugin. Can you reproduce this?

i did not use the Event-Type… only “Article”. But i realized the phenomen as described above..
my static Page wwww.mypage.de/events/ appeared as a “empty” page (not 404, not blank but missing content only header footer etc..)and it was a permalink problem.. when i change the permalink structure (to ids e.g.) all went well. but this ist not really a solution. So i concluded there is a conflict with the plugin because the deinstallation removed the problem….

sorry to say that aber i think something really went very bad by my site 😉
I can access the site without admin login – i opened it as you proposed i a private browser window.

i wonder if this is really true? Dear Rene, are you sure the pages cannot be indexed by google? There is no meta no index follow tag and: you need no admin access to view your staging- website unter:
so: how to make sure this cannot be indexed?

yes you are absolutely right.
My wordpress-url is https://name-of-my-website.mainsite.com/wp
My website-url is https://name-of-my-website.mainsite.com/I always install my wp core files and all the stuff in a subdirectory, because this makes development easy. When my website is ready for launch i only have to change the website-url in my settings and move the index.php + .htaccess in my root directory…
