I do not think that will be the case, as I have said I have prestashop with the same webhosting company and I have made test setup on personal server (where everything worked) but then on the same webhosting with identically configured wordpress it did not, so it doesn’t sound right to me that they would block their own ip address but would not mine, which is outside their range.

as I have mentioned I tried both ftp and http with same result. And also identical configuration on personal server worked but it did not work on shared webhosting.
