Thanks for your very detailed feedback.
The point I’m raising here is that with regards to Facebook, Publicize actually takes an excerpt of the article and uses this as the post content (i.e. not the preview of the link, but the actual Facebook post). I would have assumed that Publicize would do exactly the same thing on LinkedIn, but it does not. This means that I need to edit the LinkedIn posts, and add in an excerpt manually.
It would stand to reason that it should – seeing as LinkedIn’s news feed is basically a Facebook clone. Hence my original question – is there a way to do this automatically, or indeed is something in the roadmap for this to happen?
