I’ve fixed it with the help of my Theme support team. I realised I had the wrong/default privacy page selected.

1. Option for the “Display link to privacy policy? ” is checked in the widget’s settings (I had this)

2. A privacy policy page is set at WordPress settings at WP Admin -> Settings -> Privacy. (My error was having the default Privacy Policy Page rather than the one based on my lawyer’s template)

I’ve fixed 1-3. 4. The latest update of the plug-in says that it has a link to the Privacy policy but this is not seen on my website.

So 4 is still outstanding.
