In reply to: [Multipost MU] [Plugin: Multipost MU] Featured Image supportThat does sound like a good plugin, we’ll check it out.
But as far as MultiPost MU, it fits our needs now. Especially after we’ve made some updates to it. I know tmuka has made some additional updates to address some of our own needs as well as some of the feature requests in the forums. I think he is close to making a new release.
We’ll have to check out that other plugin, but today, this is the plugin we’ve built our app on and will continue to use and enhance.
Hey John, I can confirm that it does not work quite right with WP 3.0.1 and BuddyPress 1.2.4.1.
What I am seeing is the Absolute Privacy emails are not being sent, but the regular WP activation email is.
I do not however have the same issue as scottrosene. My content is locked down. I wonder if Scott has the settings correct in the plugin page.
I’d love to get these BuddyPress emails sorted out.

In reply to: [Multipost MU] [Plugin: Multipost MU] Featured Image supportMaybe… we’ll look into it.
I think the challenge is the image file would not be copied to all the sub-blogs, so it would be linked to from the root site. We’ll look into it.

In reply to: [Plugin: Multipost MU] Adding Master Vs. Non-Master in MultipostI don;t understand what you are asking for… here’s how we use this plugin now.
From the root network site, we create a post or page and publish it to all the individual sites.
Then on those individual sites, we can make local edits. These don;t get republished out.
The only time this causes a problem is if we make a change on the root master site and update on all sites. That overwrites the local changes, so we don’t do this very often.
Thanks for the legwork Awolverine. I’ll make that fix in the code and push a new version.
Wonder why it works for us…

In reply to: Multipost MUWe’re using this on a network that publishes to 200 sites with very few problems. Occasionally we get a permalink collision, but we have a script that we use to clean them up.
Hello Awolverine,
I just tested this with MultiPost 2.0 and WP 3.0.1 in Multisite mode and it works for me.
Please make sure everything is up to date and try disabling all your other plugins and try again.
It sounds like you have bad javascript somewhere.
