Thank you for confirming that the “Form Canceled” strategy is correct.
I still can’t see a way to make the GTM trigger fire only when the form has been successfully submitted. I’m testing the form in Tag Assistant and there’s no difference in any values of the “form submission” events when the form was successfully submitted and when it was not.
When creating the trigger in Google Tag Manager there’s an option to “Check Validation” but it asks to set some conditions to be met. I don’t know which conditions to set there because of what I’ve just explained in the previous paragraph.
I’d really appreciate if you could guide me in the right direction.
Hello again @wfadam
Problem solved: I checked under WordPress Settings / General and found that both Date Format and Time Format were set to Custom and their field boxes were blank. Also my timezone was set to a different one that where I’m at, so it makes me think this was changed by one of my plugins sometime in the past.
Thanks for your help!

Hi @wfadam
I had already tried that after I saw it in another thread about a similar issue. It did not work and that’s why I started my own thread.
Anyway, yesterday, after your suggestion, I tried again and this morning I received another email with the same error, so no luck…
Can you think about any other way to fix this? I don’t want to disable email notifications in case some real error occurs.
So far, I’ve received the same email 14 times since July 7th. The frequency is not consistent; sometimes three days in a row, sometimes 10 days apart. It’s always line 1661.
I’ve updated WordPress, my theme and most plugins at least once since this issue started and the last email alert I’ve received was 22 hours ago.
I have noticed that every email alert I got was triggered by a plugin/theme that needed an upgrade. The line 1661 was never the only alert in the email.
The name of my website seems to be missing as well. Here is an example of the whole email:

Thank you. 🙂
Hi
Thanks for your answer. You are right after logging out I can see the tags but there is still no enhanced ecommerce data being sent to Google Analytics.
Here’s the notification from GA dashboard:
