My tech guy found the problem. Here’s what he said. I don’t know all of the details:
The script that does the slideshow had a bad version checker that broke when WP updated jQuery. Also, the new jQuery version dropped support for a function that the script was using so I replaced it. Lines 42 and 55, respectively.
I have the same problem and have NO idea how to solve it. Is there a resolution? I have a backup of the website, but I’m not good at WordPress. The developer who created the site is long gone.
