Hi,
The white and black list options are applies in the same way to all of the unit types.
If the unit does not hold the target product which is set for the white list, it won’t be displayed.
It could be the case. You can test to see if the desired products are included in the first place by temporarily removing the white and black list options.

In reply to: [Auto Amazon Links - Amazon Associates Affiliate Plugin] Display of linksHi,
Possibly, you have auto-insert items turned on. Check them if they are enabled by going to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Manage Auto-insert and try turning off unnecessary items there.
Hi,
Setting the cache limit to a certain size is what you want to do and you have already done that. Are you saying the it didn’t trim the custom table that plugin creates?

You may want to try using Contextual Units, which allow you to set the desired associated options
Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
I cannot reproduce such a problem. It sounds like a conflict with a theme or another plugin.
Would you be able to test with a clean install which means without any other plugins and with the default theme to see if the problem occurs?
Hi,
Implementing this functionality within the plugin would require some coding and isn’t straightforward at the moment. As a temporary solution, would you consider using a third-party plugin suggested on this webpage?

In reply to: [Auto Amazon Links - Amazon Associates Affiliate Plugin] convert linksAll I want the plugin to do is add “?tag=myaffiliateid-20” to the end of
URLs. I don’t need any other features. Is there a way to do only
this?Navigate to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Tools -> Link Converter and enable it.
The problem could not be confirmed on my end.
Could it be that you are just looking at the displayed URL and saying the Associates ID is not inserted? Hover your mouse cursor over the hyperlink to check if your Associates tag is included in the destination URL.

In reply to: [Auto Amazon Links - Amazon Associates Affiliate Plugin] convert linksYes, just make sure you enter your Associates ID via Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Associates.
I checked the HTML source code of the page you provided. Your unit ID is different from what it says in the output. It says 8623 so you must be seeing the output of another unit.
It could be a caching issue and you are seeing a cached result provided by another program.
Hmm,
Not sure. Could it be you are seeing the output of another unit?
What is the unit ID of that unit?
Hi,
Check if you have auto-insert items via Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Manage Auto-insert. If you see some, disable them and see if it makes a difference.
Hi,
I think you are talking about Auto-insert. It’s not possible with the current design.
I’ll add it to my to-do list.
Thank you for asking about this.
If you don’t have a unit, navigate to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Default. There you can select the default template.
Hope this helps!
Hi,
For the first question, you have two options:
- use the Text template (Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Templates -> Text) After activating it, go to your unit setting and select the Text template>
- edit the Item Format unit option and leave only %title%/ A
For the second question, enable the geotargeting option (Dashboard ->Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Geotargeting)
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Try creating a unit first. Then using the shortcode, display the unit in a post.
There are several different ways to show Amazon affiliate links using this plugin.
Play around with it and I hope you can see how it works.
