Any body? Help with reducing the space above the header would be a huge help. Look forward to hearing from you guys, thanks!

I removed the malware (at least to the best of my knowledge), but I have still have issues with IE. Do you know how I can reduce the margins/fix the map (ccwbystate.com)?

IE7 is still a disaster. None of the above fixes worked. Anybody else have any additional ideas or should I bite the bullet and change the theme all together?

    songdogtech,
Thanks for your continued help. As you directed, I linked the stylesheet.css to the ie-stylesheet correctly, and it is properly linked now. Unfortunately, the removal of <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> didn’t change anything and the site is still distorted.

Question… is there a way for me to simply find where the malware is hiding and delete it? Why are these cleaning methods so damn complicated?

    songdogtech,
Thank you for the response. I removed the code from the header, but it didn’t change anything. I’m going to try to clean the site the next day or two.

But let me get this straight…there isn’t any sort of malware software that can scan and remove malware/viruses from wordpress? Everyone has to start from scratch and just reinstall everything?

That absolutely amazes me. Someone should serious try to capitalize on that.

    esmi,
Thanks for the response. I’ve viewed these links before, but was hoping I wouldn’t have to start from scratch after all of the work I’ve put in. Are you aware of that script and whether or not it is a virus? Do you think the script is the reason the IE version of my site is distorted, or do you think it may just be a CSS issue?

    Thanks again for your help.

Ah… I think <script src="http://$domain/ll.php?kk=11"> is a virus of some sort. I tried reinstalling the plugins but to no avail.

Hmm… I did all the changes, and copied and pasted the ie-stylesheet into it’s own .css file, but the page is still distorted. It’s looking great in chrome and mozilla, but it’s all types of messed up in IE7. Bill Gates will be the death of me.

    kmessinger,
I can’t thank you enough for all your help. I added the ie stylesheet via ftp and added the exception in the header. The site does come up a little wider now, but it looks like the formatting of the pages (About, CCW Map, etc.) is messed up.

I’m glad there’s another CCWer in the house! Keep up the good fight my man.

    kmessinger,
Thanks for the response. I’m really not sure how to clean up the errors that that site lists. I do know it is a theme problem however, I just can’t figure out what exactly it is in the theme. I’ve done a lot of trial and error but I can’t seem to fix it.

This is the link to my stylesheet: http://www.ccwbystate.com/wp-content/themes/raindrops/style.css?ver=0.904

With a quick view of the stylesheet, does anything popout to you guys that might be causing this problem in IE?

Hate to bump this…bu this IE problem is killing me. I don’t want to keep working on my theme if it looks like a crammed up midget in internet explorer.

    help is appreciated!

…Better yet, what I would have to add to the IE Stylesheet to make my site look normal in IE7?

    Boda,
Thanks for your response. I’m not very familiar with CSS unfortunately. I know some basic HTML/php, but that’s about where my knowledge ends. Could you explain to me what I would need to add to the stylesheet to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

    CyberAlien,
You’re a life saver. I got rid of the border by changing the css from border 1px to 0px and it was successful. Unfortunately, I still have this “+” sign above the top left side of the ad. Any idea how I can get rid of that to make it look more natural? The link is ccwbystate.com/about. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Sorry for the bump, but any help would really be appreciated.
