I have not found a single decent plugin enabling a staging-to-production process that a) can merge staged updates into the production database without messing up new posts/comments on the production site, and b) supports WPML.
You’ve got (a) down, I think if you tackle (b) you can become huge 🙂 The big boys like Duplicator and Migrate DB Pro can’t even do (a). I’d say there must be plenty of businesses with WPML-based multilingual WordPress websites that post ongoing news articles or blog posts on production, and desire easy staging-to-production for updates to their marketing/products/contact pages.
I’ll keep an eye out.
