sorry, I just detected that the issue is related to a browser problem. When invoking WP dashboard on Microsoft Edge all works fine.
So for me the issue is solved.

Yes, of course. Issues have been solved only partially.
I am really not happy about how Envira handles updates (introducing several incompatabilites and breaking galleries). From my point of view, this is unacceptable.
