Hi,
To solve spam related problems, you can take the following steps:
1) Make sure you’re using an email address attached to your own domain in the “From Email” field (Admin Menu > Downloads > Messages). For example use [email protected] in stead of [email protected]
2) Email / SPAM problems are often host related. If e-mails end up in your SPAM folder, the IP address of your host may have been blacklisted. Maybe other users are spamming from the same IP address. You could present the problem to your web host or you can use an SMTP plugin like WP Mail SMTP. In addition you could use a mail sending service.
Please let us know if it has been resolved and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Team Download After EmailYou are welcome, that’s nice to hear!
This occurs with websites that do not load a 404 template or actually do not load wordpress scripts at all on certain non-existing ‘pages’.
With the next update we will come up with a solution for this, so that this can no longer occur with the download links of our plugin.
Kind regards,
Team Download After EmailHi,
We will see if/when we can make this option available in the future.

Team Download After EmailHi,
This problem is caused because the routing of your website is not functioning optimally (to virtual / nonexistent ‘pages’).
If you approach us by email, we are glad to help you with this specific problem.
Kind regards,
Team Download After EmailHi,
You are welcome.
We tested your download form (via https protocol) and the email arrived in the inbox (not classified as spam) and the file was downloaded successfully. Another test (via http) failed resulting in an endless spinning circle…
Ensure that pages accessed via http are redirected to https. This will prevent the failure of Ajax requests. You can find more information here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/how-to-move-a-wordpress-site-from-http-to-https/Kind regards,
Team Download After EmailThanks for your reaction. It seems that these errors have been resolved.
The reason why your ajax requests don’t work is probably due to the following javascript syntax error: Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [href=#]
The file involved is: main.js?ver=3.7.1:2167 (Avada Theme)
You can find the same problem (and solution) here:
https://briancjc.com/ajax-grid-post-avada-theme-not-displaying/Our advice is to contact the author of your theme. Please let us know if it has been resolved and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Team Download After EmailHi,
We are happy to help you see why it might not work properly on your site. Could you send a (different) test page with the download form?

Team Download After EmailHi,
A possible cause may be that the dae-uploads folder could not be created during activation. If this is the case, an admin notification message should be visible when creating or changing a download form.
It is best to check (via FTP) whether the dae-uploads folder exists within the WordPress uploads folder. If this folder is not present, check whether the parent folders have the correct permissions. It may be that the wp-content folder or the uploads folder is not writable. More information about file and folder permissions can be found here:
Finally activate the plugin again after you have set the correct permissions.
If you want to create this folder manually, you can find more information here:

Team Download After EmailHi,
With the next update we will add a hook so it’s possible to add custom code for validation.
Clicking the download link in the email can function as a double opt-in process, which includes an additional confirmation step that verifies the email address. After the download link has been clicked, the download file will be offered after successful verification and your (added) actions will be performed (for example, the subscriber will be added to your Mailchimp Audience.)
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hi,
Good to hear you like our plugin. You may want to read the following topics first:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/dont-get-any-email/
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/gmail-smtp-troubleshooting/Since this is often a host related problem, you may want to contact your host if the measures listed do not work for you. Please let us know if it has been resolved and if you have any more questions or want more information about the premium features, feel free to contact us via our website.
Best regards,
Team Download After EmailHi there,
These error notification messages are part of the normal operation of our plugin.
The download forms of our plugin are protected against unauthorized / excessive use. If a visitor / subscriber has already received an email with the download link to a specific file, a message appears instead of repeating the whole process. In other words, each subscriber can receive one email per download file (filename). If it is necessary for a subscriber to use the download forms again, in case one or more emails have been deleted, you can remove the subscriber from the subscribers log.
With the option “Unlimited Links” (Disable the use or one-time download links) the download links in the emails can be used indefinitely instead of once.
The first error message also appears if you have not selected a download file.
Since these are not real errors, I will mark this topic as resolved. Feel free to open a new topic for other questions or problems.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Download After Email - Subscribe & Download Form Plugin] Download link errorHi,
The php_fileinfo extension might be disabled in your PHP configuration settings. This is enabled by default normally. You can enable this setting in your DirectAdmin/cPanel environment, or you could ask your hosting.
Please let us know if it has been resolved and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
