Didnt find a solution, but Woocommerce is the only ecoomerce solution that has this error. and It is an error. Makes no sense.

Actually, /tienda/ is not in that URL you are sending me, its actually only in the home page.
I am thinking… could it be that your plugin is adding /tienda/ to the URL in the home page, because Woocommerce is set up to have the Store in the Home page? (tienda means Shop in Spanish)The ugly URL in the menu is intentional, We needed to have the shop in the home page, but also in a page where the slider was not displayed, and woocommerce only lets you have the shop element in one single page. its not pretty, but is the only way to do it.

Thank you so much for your help.Ok, I deactivated all plugins, changed themes and the problems is still there, so it is your plugin adding /tienda/ to the URL. The problem is that I am not sure where it is getting that from. I have a backup copy of the site and instead of adding /tienda to the url, is adding /home/
So, I am a little lost here…If you go to the home page http://www.alstey.com

there is no link rel in that page….I just checked the permanent links again, no /tienda anywhere.
The only place where tienda is added is in the home page title in spanish, but your plugin shouldn’t be adding that to the url. So I am lost where that comes from.Hello Thorsten,
Yes, the links in the head are adding /tienda/ and I have no idea where is that coming from because its not added anywhere in wordpress or woocomerce.You are not redirected to the english site because I had to stop doing that, because it was loading the incorrect urls, when I solve this /tienda/ issue I will be able to ad it back again.
When you click on /tienda you get redirected to /en because I made a 301 redirection for the time being, so users don’t get a 404 page.
Why is that /tienda/ added? where is it coming from?

The website is up now, and I am still having the redirection issue, the homepage doesn’t get redirected correctly when you press on the language switcher. and also happens in the shop page. and other pages.
it works on product pages but it ads /home/ to the urls.
I tried everything, but I can’t seem to find a solution or a workaround

Hi again, I deactivated everything but still happening.
And now I realize that is adding this to the pages urls:

The URL I am at is a category page:
http://www.mywebsite.com/product-category/wallets
and its taking me to
http://www.mywebsite.com/en/homeI am using the Menu item. I added the language switcher to the main menu navigation.
Also installed to plugin to display the flag next to the language name.
It only happens in category pages.thanks
For more details, when it redirects to the homepage its adding /home/ to the URL
so its going to http://www.mywebsite.com/home/
and not sure where is getting that URL because it doesnt exist.thanks
