That worked perfectly — thank you. I simply placed the following in my header.php file for my theme where the original custom-header was:

<div id="custom-header">
        <?php if(function_exists('get_ad_placement')) echo get_ad_placement(header_ads); ?>
</div>

Then created a placement for header_ads and attached a group to it.

If the problem is in our server settings, any idea on what might be causing that?
