In reply to: [Rock The Slackbot] How to debug if nothing happens on a new post?Thanks Rachel!! The webhook test made it real easy to figure what was going on. Apparently I had to specify the channel name in the settings even though it was the same default channel as the webhook settings on slack’s side.

In reply to: [Rock The Slackbot] How to debug if nothing happens on a new post?Yeah, so I checked with the owner of our previous admin email (I have usurped that role of as today), but he reports no emails from RTS.
We are not seeing any notifications from RTS at all. I don’t know if it matters, but we are hosted on WPEngine?

So I am fairly certain that I am understand webhooks in general since I use them extensively with custom software. Since this is all in the same slack team, I suspect it must be my WP or RTS plugin config.
I found the “Exclude Post Types From Notifications” setting to be somewhat ambiguous – I took checked boxes to mean _exclude_, so I left them unchecked. But just to make sure, I also checked everything as well, but still no action, unfortunately.
Do the errors from RTS go somewhere that I can look up?
