Just wanted to check back in and say I’ve re-installed plugins and themes and the issue seems to be resolved! I think you are correct and there was something wrong with the original checkout template or page. Thank you all for your help and I hope this helps anyone else having this problem in the future.
Okay so. I disabled all plugin including Elementor & Woocommerce Plugins + Cleared all cache’s.
I went to test but my Checkout page seemed to be displaying the form incorrectly so I trashed and rebuilt that page from WooCommerce Tools.
Using only WooCommerce and Twenty Twenty-Five (and a rebuilt checkout page) I am now able to apply the coupon as a guest at checkout! (YAY!)
However:
EDIT: Ignore this I see that to place order they will need to imput this information! I now need to know how to ensure that customer’s input their billing details as well (for a future date for physical products – at the moment I only offer digital downloads so this isnt as important)
I will reinstall plugins one by one and report back with issues.
I am wondering if my checkout page was broken some how.
