Problem solved. Thank you!
So, I finally figured out the problem with the .ics code and fixed it. Now I can get the calendar to upload to both iCal and Google Calendar.
But wouldn’t someone have to click on the button each time they wanted to upload a new event on the calendar to their own? In other words…does it auto-update whenever new events are added?
Is there a way to get a “subscribe to” rather than an “export to”?
Make sense?
Hmmm…when I use that, I get an error message that says: “The address that you provided did not contain a calendar in a valid iCal or GData format” That’s why I tried using the .ics format, but that didn’t work either.
Hmmm…actually…it’s not working. Do you know the URL I put in the html code generator? I’ve tried the .ics URL as well as just the plain URL, but none of them seem to work.
It seems to only want to accept calendar addresses from Google calendars, not Event Manager. It wants an XML address???
@angelo_nwl I did try that, and it worked fine on the individual event postings, but I can’t figure out where to put the placeholder so it shows up on the full month view. Also, it seems to be a link that enables exporting of the events to Google Calendar…but what I’m really looking for is a “subscribe to this in Google Calendar.” So that any new events added to the blog’s calendar will auto-post to someone’s personal Google Calendar.
